(09) WHAT CHANGES THE PRICE

What changes the price

The main scope variables are page count, content readiness, design complexity, editing requirements and integrations. Make them explicit in the brief rather than assuming they are included in every package. A quote can only be compared responsibly when the supplier and the buyer are discussing the same work.

A five-page service site and a transactional portal are different projects. The number of pages is useful context, but integrations and content responsibilities can matter more. Compare the proposed template system, editing experience and launch checks before treating two prices as equivalent.

(10) ONGOING AND ADDITIONAL COSTS

Ongoing and additional costs

Hosting, renewals, paid plugins, photography, translation and maintenance can sit outside the build fee. Record who pays each provider and who controls the account. An initially cheaper project may create ongoing costs that are not visible in the launch quote.

List the services the business will continue to pay for after the first delivery. Separate one-off setup from recurring charges, and record who owns each account. Additional work should use a clear change process so a reasonable initial quote does not become an undefined commitment.

(11) HOW TO COMPARE QUOTES

How to compare quotes

Create a simple comparison using deliverables, responsibilities, timing, exclusions and handover. Ask the suppliers to clarify mismatches before choosing on price. A larger fee is not automatically better value, and a smaller fee is not automatically a complete scope. The useful question is what the business can evaluate and operate after delivery.

Projects in the supplied plan use 50% upfront and 50% on launch; retainers are billed monthly in advance. SEO retainers specify a six-month minimum. The agreement confirms the terms for your engagement. These commercial starting points do not replace a review of the contract.

(12) FROM ESTIMATE TO BRIEF

From estimate to brief

State the business objective and the essential first-phase deliverables. Identify the content, access and approvals your team can provide. Explain any non-negotiable integration, language or production requirement. A written brief makes the next conversation more productive than asking for a universal price.

How much does web design cost in the UAE?

Starter websites cost AED 3,500; Business websites cost AED 8,500. The Starter website package has a three-week delivery schedule; Business websites take four to six weeks. Copy, images, language versions and approvals are scheduled before development begins. The quote separates VAT and third-party charges from delivery fees.

How much does a full website cost?

Starter websites cost AED 3,500; Business websites cost AED 8,500. The Starter website package has a three-week delivery schedule; Business websites take four to six weeks. Copy, images, language versions and approvals are scheduled before development begins. The quote separates VAT and third-party charges from delivery fees.

How much is a 1 page website?

A one-page website needs a separate quote because the published Starter package covers up to five pages at AED 3,500. The page can still require copy, custom sections, an enquiry form and conversion tracking. Ask which of those deliverables are included, and compare the final project scope rather than dividing a multi-page package price.
